One of the things mentioned most when people spoke about Dad was his life-long love of roses. I did a brief review of the roses in his garden and found more than 60, nearly all different varieties, some picked for special significance and others for their beauty or fragrance but all contributing to his gorgeous display each year. As several people suggested, I am sure he is now "tending the roses in heaven".
